A Bit About Me
Celine Wanjiru is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya and Commissioner for Oaths with vast experience in conveyancing, commercial and corporate practice. Her practice encompasses real estate transactions, commercial contracts, banking and security documentation, corporate advisory, corporate governance, regulatory compliance and legal due diligence.
Celine has experience advising corporate clients, developers and financial institutions on complex transactions, including property acquisitions and disposals, leases, financing and security arrangements, corporate restructurings and regulatory matters. She regularly drafts and negotiates commercial agreements, advises on legal and transactional risks, and supports clients through transactions from instruction and due diligence to completion and registration.
She also has experience in company secretarial practice, board governance, statutory compliance and the administration of family and charitable trusts. Celine brings a practical, commercially focused approach to her work, with particular emphasis on identifying legal risks and delivering solutions that support her clients’ business and transactional objectives.
Professional Expertise
Celine is passionate about land matters seeing it as the genesis of what it means to be African and specifically Kenyan. Celine is all about the details and listening to her client’s concerns. Celine is determined to be part of the change of legislation pertaining to land issues from the colonial era to the modern era.
Celine became an advocate because she wanted to make a difference in the systems and policies in law that serve the common man. And she gets the most fulfillment from settling a difficult conveyancing matter to the satisfaction of her client. Her future hopes to become an authority in tax law in the future.
